Yesterday Deanna and I worked together on a shoot for “Al Hashulchan“, and the question of what we were going to photograph for Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) kept arising. Deanna brought tons of props and displayed them on the prop table, making it easy to pick, and then all of sudden we both looked at the table and knew that was our shot. Deanna added the fresh dates to the scale, and voila- that was our greeting for the new year.
